签约于瑞典名厂Labrador旗下的The Mary Onettes来自于瑞典城市Jönköping。在Labrador厂牌下，被我们所熟知的更多的是像Club 8这样的Swedish-Pop、Acid House Kings这样的顽皮俏丽，抑或是The Radio Dept.这样的清新冷寂。The Mary Onettes游弋与他们之中显得卓尔不群，因为他们的音乐较之于前面提到的几个乐队显得有些“黑”，连Labrador都把他们形容为“摩登版的A- ha穿上黑衣糅合早期The Jesus And Mary Chain”。The Mary Onettes的这种相对“幽暗”的风格是有来由的，他们的音乐受到了The Stone Roses、Echo & the Bunnymen、The Cure、New order等乐队的影响。组队之初的冷板凳和在Sony BMG的郁郁不得志曾使他们心力疲惫，但幸好Labrador慧眼识金，于2006年将他们签了下来。
